EQu - the quality equalizer
Equ now works with remote control, multitask bar and from the lock screen!!

Finally Apple solved a tedious bug,…
Yes, Apple solved a few bugs and now we can finally give all EQu users what they want.
In our update the remote controls will work 100% and we improved the overall stability dramatically.
Skipping to next song with your headset remote control is going to work fine, pulling the mini jack out of the device makes the music stop; All functions you need!
No need for the iPod Player anymore! Now you can enjoy the perfect sound of EQu all the time.
We will continue to make EQu fabulous. :D

Don’t stop believin (NES remake in FamiTracker)

download ( http://8bc.org/music/ddribin/Don%27t+Stop+Believin%27+%28NES+Remake%29/)

FamiTracker download  (free)

FamiTracker is a free windows tracker for producing music for the NES/Famicom-systems. The interface is based on MadTracker and should be easy to use if you’ve been using trackers before.

One of the features is NSF-file exporting. That allows music created in this tracker to be played on the real hardware, or even for for use in your own NES-applications.

your really costumizable soundplayer

avaibale for free!

http://refreq.danielfeles.com/

the author: Daniel Feles——>”refreq is a really customable music player. I mean really. You can load music files into refreq, but also images (bitmaps, imgs, pngs). When you load a song, first the program analyzes the track, then it draws its frequency spectrum. After tracking, you can generate the spectral image / bitmap back into music.

At this point, it’s getting really interesting. After you have the image of the track, how you want to play it depends on you, You can play with the timeline, to play the sound from an other aspect. You can see where exactly the notes are, but the harmonies are also really visible.

You can rotate the player, then the notes will be the same, but the harmonies will be changing”

The objects are intelligent and can detect and interact with each other, with humans and computer software, providing visual feedback at the same time.

They come with software that lets you create and explore sound, music and visuals through hands-on interaction, whether it be in the studio, in live performances or in art installations.

enginee-pianist Elaine Chew

software tool to analyze music.

MuSA.RT — Music on the Spiral Array . Real-Time — explores the use of Elaine Chew’s Spiral Array model in real-time analysis and scientific visualization of tonal structures in music. MuSA.RT allows listeners to see tonal structures as they hear them. MIDI information is mapped to pitch names in real time, and the closest triads and keys are computed and shown as the music unfolds in a performance. Two trackers, each a Centers of Effect (CE), one for longterm and one for shortterm information, show the history of the tonal trajectories. The 3D model dances to the rhythm of the music, spinning smoothly so that the current triad forms the background for the CE trails. Real-time tracking of tonal patterns in music also has widespread applications in music analysis, information retrieval, performance analysis, and expression synthesis.
